How GrainPosition works, in under two minutes

What happens in the video
- Import the spreadsheet. The farm's Excel workbook comes in: contracts, bins and expected production. The columns are matched, and every row is shown before anything is saved.
- A new contract, from a photo. Buyer, crop, quantity, price and delivery month fill in. Before saving, a preview shows what taking it does to the book.
- The scale ticket, from a photo. Weights, moisture, dockage, grade and the contract it went on. Log it, and the delivery counts against the contract on its own.
- The settlement, from a photo. The price and every deduction, checked against the gross on the statement.
- Contracted against actually paid. $628.50 a tonne on the contract, $619.36 actually paid: the difference is what the deductions cost.
The farm, the buyer and the documents in the video are fictional samples. The voice is synthetic. Reading photos works in the app today for invited farms; the demo on the homepage doesn't read photos.
