Gross, dockage, shrink, freight, drying, check-offs and levies, each said in plain words, and whether the lines add up to what was paid.
The buyer and your protection
Whether the buyer is on the Canadian Grain Commission’s list of licensed companies, and how long the payment protection on an unpaid settlement lasts.
Against the contract
Add a photo of the contract and the price, the grade and the freight rate are checked against it, with the last day to ask the Grain Commission for a binding grade.
The photo is read by GrainPosition’s photo reader (Anthropic’s Claude) and not kept. Nothing is stored and no account is made.
